The National Hellenic Research Foundation organizes the educational lecture series, the “Science in Society” in order to disseminate scientific knowledge and information to the scientific community and the general public. Rounds of speeches (November - May) are organized each year with topics that alternate on a monthly basis and which are relevant to the subject of the research programs produced by the NHRF institutes. The themes of the events are always chosen in the light of the news, the interest and the problems of the public, thus offering a valid scientific information. Speakers are mainly researchers, university teachers and specialist scientists.
